Pen15's Homepage

Welcome to the prototype home-page of an up-and-'coming' rock band.  We're a rock quartet with an ecclectic style; with sounds ranging from light acoustic rock to heavy/hard rock.  We're based in Coventry, CT and if you'd like to contact us, you can find a link to our e-mail address at the bottom of each page.  While you're here sign the guestbook, we'd love to hear from you!

This site is just a test, the grammar is horrible, and the quality isn't that good.  We're just using this as a jumping off point to try and get more exposure.

More to come.

Updates

Here you'll get updates on what's new with the site and the band.

11/05/04 - Holy crap, it's been awhile w/o an update... Anyway, things are going pretty good with us.  There is a definate lack of giggity gig-age, but the demo is on it's way.  We have the "rough draft" ready.  And trust me it is rough.  Mostly my fault though, I need to re-do my vocals, and my guitar in some areas.  But the songs are there all the same for you to check out, so please do check it out.  Then please do sign the guestbook with comments and other feedback.  Until next time Peace Outside Pen15'ers!

8/15/04 - Yeah, it's not that big but it's still an update.  Minor tweaks and changes, some rewordings, etc. etc. you get the idea.  We're still looking for shows so let us know if anyone wants us to play for them.

7/22/04 - So it's definately 6:26 in the morning and Jordon is updating before work *grumble*  Josh Luke and I have been recording last week and Ethan is finishing his tracks today.  Then we'll be editing the songs next week on Thursday.  So all things ideal we'll have a finished copy of the Demo (Pen15's D.P.) by our show on the 31st.  Talk to a member of the band, email us, or just contact me VIA AIM on pen15vocal for information about tickets.  Oh, new link in the links section, Pen15 is now on purevolume.  Gotta go to work.  Later kids!

7/7/04 - Well well kiddos, it's been awhile... We've got a gig lined up for July 31st next door to Michael's Penalty Box (Not the biggest venue but at least we're playing)... (and no not the deli place, the house with a huge lawn on the otherside [across from the auto repair place])  I'm hoping to have our demo done by then or VERY shortly afterwards... If it's done by then we'll be selling copies at the show; which is a benefit for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Good cause, come and check it out.  E-mail us for more info and we'll send it as we get it.  Also e-mail us if you'd like to be added to the brand-new very low-tech Pen15 Mailing List.  You'll get e-mails about site updates, new songs, and upcoming shows.  Peace and Love everyone!

5/31/04 - NEW SONG IN THE WORKS!!! (Shh! the rest of the band has no idea I wrote a song yet) Okay, we got the live recording of our latest W.U. Gig and we listened to it at our last practice... We decided to not put it up on the site.  Sorry if anyone feels ripped off.  If you REALLY want a copy then you can e-mail us and we'll send you one.  Peace and Love.

5/24/04 - The Webster Show was great, we had a few minor screw-ups but all in all we don't think anybody noticed.  We don't have any shows booked for awhile but if you'd like to book us just contact us through the e-mail on the page and we'll get back to you... If the CD's came out from last night we'll have some new live mp3's soon.  Keep checking back, and make sure to sign the guestbook.  Ohhh by the way we got a new e-mail address (rockinthepen15@yahoo.com)

5/15/04 - Meet the Band section revamped, the nicknames kinda suck but I'll change them around as i think of better ones.  E.O. Battle of the Bands was awesome, thank you to all of the pricks who were throwing condoms and stealing our set-list... you're really cool, omg I just can't believe how bad-ass you are... fucking losers.  Anywho, it was a great show, thank you to all who attended.  E.O. Smith can send us the bill for replacing the roof after we rocked that bitch right off.  Peace.

5/10/04 - Advance tickets are available for the Webster Underground show on May 23rd.  Cost is $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  It's another 18+ show, if you want tickets e-mail us and we hook you up.

5/6/2004 - Okay... Josh Look needs to STOP CHANGING THE NAME OF THE SHOW ON THE 21st.  That is all.

5/5/04 - No update, but today IS Cinco de Mayo so Pen15 feels it is appropriate to provide our fans (all 3 of you) with some useless information:
Cinco de Mayo celebrates the defeat of the French army (the French? you ask.  Yes, not like it's much of an accomplishment) on May 5, 1862.  Now you know why you're drinking obscene amounts of alcohol today.  Enjoy.  Share it with your friends.  And happy today :  )

4/29/04 - Apparently my contact for the WCCC show fell through, sorry if anyone is disappointed, I am too...
